Over the past two decades, the Under the Radar theater festival has connected New York audiences with the world’s most innovative playwrights and risk-taking work from international performers. Dozens of major creators and rising voices—including Elevator Repair Service, Reggie Watts, Taylor Mac, Whitney White, Lemon Andersen, Roger Guenveur Smith, Migguel Anggelo, Belarus Free Theatre, Tanya Tagaq, and Ryan J. Haddad—have found a champion in the Festival. Under the Radar returns in January 2025, with performances across the city, including two productions at Lincoln Center.
