Radulović has captivated audiences worldwide with his clever curatorial takes on western classical music, the impassioned "daredevil freshness" (The Guardian) and "charismatic energy" (The Strad) of his playing, and the diverse repertoire of his Double Sens chamber orchestra. Under Radulović's visionary direction, the ensemble blends classical tradition with modern interpretations. Through its innovative programming and invigorating performances, Double Sens redefines the classical concert experience, inviting listeners into a shared musical journey. For the ensemble's NYC debut, the concert begins with Radulović's own arrangement of Beethoven's deeply emotional “Kreutzer” Sonata, No. 9 in A major, originally intended as a work for violin and piano but reimagined here as a vibrant romp for solo violin and five-part string ensemble. The evening continues with a bravura take on the Chaconne from Bach's Partita No. 2 in D minor, the gold standard for solo violin performance. The company closes with an arrangement of Bach's reconstructed Violin Concerto in D minor, which Gramophone called "fantastically fierce" and "incredibly impressive."
