The Spotlight: A Night at the Atrium series showcases burlesque at its finest. Empowered, illustrious, and fierce. In December, we present Boombox Burlesque, a collective dedicated to challenging stereotypes, celebrating Black culture, and showcasing the beauty and artistry of both Hip-Hop and burlesque. Remixes and Reveals is the collective's high-energy, multidisciplinary showcase—using the power of Hip-Hop culture with the theatrical glamour of burlesque and imagining the stage as a platform for bold creative expression. Celebrating the Hip-Hop movement birthed in The Bronx, Remixes and Reveals brings together performance artists from across disciplines for a night of turntables and tassels in the same spotlight.
