Lincoln Center’s sophomore season of Songwriter/Storyteller champions innovators of the singer-songwriter genre, celebrating the craft and artistry central to their work. A three-time winner of the Native American Music Award, Samantha Crain combines folk music with the sounds of country rock and college indie rock. Her latest album, Gumshoe (2025), was released on Communion's Real Kind Records to universal acclaim and critical praise. Crain has toured nationally and internationally over the past decade with First Aid Kit, Neutral Milk Hotel, Lucy Rose, The Avett Brothers, The Mountain Goats, and more. For her Lincoln Center debut, Crain showcases songs both beloved and new, opening an intimate window into the storytelling process.
